These amplifiers all feature MOSFET devices, optional Remote Bass Control Modules (RBCM), and even an auxiliary output for a daisy chain connection of an amplified EL Bazooka tube subwoofer using the ELA-EXT. Left Side of the Amplifier:

  • Remote: mini-jack for use with the optional Remote Bass Control Module
  • Hi Input: 5-pin male jack for use with supplied speaker-level input harness
  • Input: gold-plated RCA stereo jacks
  • Level: gain control that allows you to match the input sensitivity of the amplifier to the particular source unit you are using
  • Filter Switch: lets you select high-pass, low-pass, or full-range operation for the internal crossover
  • X-Over: allows you to adjust the frequency of the crossover from 60-400Hz
  • Bass Boost: a rotary control that allows you to set the bass boost applied to the speaker output signal. The bass boost is centered at 45Hz and is adjustable from 0-12dB.
  • Power LED: illuminates green when the amplifier is on and receiving power

Right Side of the Amplifier:

  • +12 (power): gold-plated set screw terminal that will accept up to 8 gauge wire (requires a 2mm Allen wrench)
  • GND (ground): gold-plated set screw terminal that will accept up to 8 gauge wire (requires a 2mm Allen wrench)
  • REM (remote turn-on): gold-plated set screw terminal that will accept up to 8 gauge wire (requires a 2mm Allen wrench)
  • Speakers: gold-plated set screw terminals that will accept up to 8 gauge wire (requires a 2mm Allen wrench)
  • Aux Output: 6-pin male jack that connects to an optional ELA-hp series amplified bass tube using an optional harness
  • Fuses: one 20-amp blade fuse for the amplifier and one 7.5-amp blade fuse for the aux output
